Material Handler/Heat Treatment (5867802)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our Rivet Cleaning & Heat Treatment department. In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and load/unload equipment used in cleaning and heat-treating fasteners while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning, degreasing, and heat treatment equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform quality checks, record production data, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Complete routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and inventory tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently.

Work Environment
This position is in a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, oils, lubricants, and metal materials. Shift rotation and cross-training in other production departments may be required.
